The city that never sleeps took a pretty hard hit over the last couple of years. Although economist say the recession ended last year, many in “sin city,” along with others across the country beg to differ. The housing market here took a major hit. Neighborhoods once lively and full of families, grew desolate and were filled with for sale signs and foreclosure notices. Despite the tragic impact the recession had on this area, some stuck it through, while others counted their loses and moved on. Las Vegas, along with several other cities across the country are slowly seeing indications of a rebound. The city is vying to keep it’s number one convention meeting spot as well as revitalize its ailing school system. If you’re thinking of moving to Las Vegas, this is as good of a time as any.
