When it comes to clothing, you can include those items in your garage sale, but I believe you benefit more by consigning.  A reputable consignment shop will pay you more for your clothing than what you can sometimes receive during a yard sale.  Your proceeds from the garage sale and consignment will assist in offsetting your relocation costs.
